The Flyhead Helmet is a device that isolates its wearer from the surrounding environment, such that one can be in a very public space, but still within his/her own private bubble. An example of existenzmaximum, a term coined by Paola Antonelli, the Flyhead Helmet lets the senses roam free, while filtering the outside world selectively.
