MicroDoodle Topiary
My entry in the 2010 Minnesota State Fair. First time in / 5th try! I took 3rd place in mixed media and the First Glance Award opening night and the coveted People's Choice Award!
Now in September/October 2011 it will travel to HopCat in downtown Grand Rapids Michigan to become a contender in the ArtPrize.
1582 artist compete for over $400,000 in prize money.
Around 250 Hours in this piece, it is the most detailed and extensive MicroDoodle I have ever created!
If you click on a photo and then "View all sizes in the upper right corner, then click on "Original size" it will take you to right down to the canvas surface!
I dedicate this piece to two people
Melissa Montgomery who inspired me to start MicroDoodling again, her spirit is around me often and
Lisa Raye Norris for showing me that I needed to focus my energies on "me" before I could begin to connect with source, my art and my passion. Both of these amazing ladies taught me so much about persistence and following our bliss!
All of us must learn to "Follow our Bliss"
Live everyday as if it were your last! Tomorrow is never a given........
If you have a second stop by Lisa's music page, give her music a listen and "Like" it if you'd like. Her music has been an incredible muse for me!

Thank you to the dozen of people and spirits I met around Lake Harriet, Lake Calhoun, Loring Park and The Cowles Conservatory & Regis Gardens at the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, in the past 5 months creating this piece! You have all added your own special synergy to this creation. Bless you all!
