Hi, I'm an admin for a group called Drain Art, and we'd love to have your photo added to the group.

really? i think i added this to the group a long time ago, and shortly thereafter you decided that you didn't want mosaics in the group. note on the group page still says so...

thinking about this again, i think i actually *created* it originally for that group...

    I like it.

I'm somewhat of a "Drainspotter" (thing Trainspotter), e.g. I look for floor drains whenever I'm in restrooms and the like. I've even made a class system, as follows:
Class 1: Square holes (like Picture 2) I like to call these “Potato Mashers”
Class 2: Curved holes (like Picture 13)
Class 3: Straight holes (like Picture 28)
Class 4: Straight divided into 2 or more sections (like Pic 10)
    Class 5: Round holes
Class 6: Unique (ones that don't fit into Classes 1-5)(like Pic 14)
    Class 7: No Cover
Class 8: Was a drain but filled with cement/sand.
Note: for Classes 2 and 4, I actually use a system that notes the number of sections/divisions. For example, Picture 13 would be classified as a Class 2.8

This is the best. I like drain covers and manhole covers. these are fantastic.
