Carpobrotus glaucescens flower4

Flowers are 4–6 cm wide. 'Petals' (actually petal-like staminodes = sterile stamens) number 100–150 in 3 or 4 rows and are light purple, becoming white at the base. There are about 300–400 stamens in 5 or 6 rows and 7-10 styles.
