Carter Shields Cabin

This is the Carter Shields cabin in Cades Cove, in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It's along the loop trail towards the end. These places are so cool to see, but kind of challenging to capture interestingly if the weather/seasons are cooperating. We were there this spring and had some really weird weather (not good weird, more like torrential rain and hail mixed with bright sunny days) so I'm having to do a little more processing than normal. Anyhow, you can see we did eventually make it into the park - I think all I've posted so far from this trip has been abandoned places and chapels along the way up to the Smokies.
