    Yellowstone National Park

    This is the famous “quad mom”. She gave birth to 4 cubs three years ago. Two didn’t make it through the first winter....or maybe it was two winters ago...I’m not sure. But two big healthy three-year-old cubs are still with her. I’m told they won’t be for long. She’ll send them off on their own sometime soon.

    I think this is my favorite image from the trip. Thanks for viewing. This image is available as a print.

      seen on *Explore* I remember the bears of Yellowstone from a long ago stay there in the 60's. I like this photo. It brings back good memories.
