Soay Sheep - St Kilda
From our trip to St Kilda 2/5/2012
One of the 2500 Soay Sheep on the Island. These sheep originated from the smaller Island of Soay just off St Kilda, they were taken across from the island when the evacuations began. They are wild sheep and are left to roam and fend for themselves hence the really ragged woolly jumper.
