Shooting up in Camden last during last Sunday's 100 Strangers London meetup. I saw Sioban walking down the street. She had a marvellous look of confidence about her and although it was later in the afternoon and I was about to quit and call it a day, I decided to make her the last person I approached for a portrait. I'm glad I did because she was really friendly and immediately agreed. It turns out that Sioban wasn't a visitor to Camden - she lives there and was on her way home.
I really like this portrait - you can see how the quality of light has changed dramatically from my other shots of the day. Shortly after this was taken, it started to rain and you can get a sense of that from just the overall colour balance of this photo. The overcast conditions have given it a very muted feel and you can even see the wind starting to whip Sioban's hair around her face. The only thing I'm not completely happy with are the details in her eyes - perhaps I should have added a puff of flash for some catchlights.
