Blood Orange Campari

    Recipe:
    1/2 cup blood orange juice
    2 fluid ounces Campari
    Ice Cubes
    Blood orange slice, to garnish

    Pour blood orange and Campari in a glass. Add ice cubes. Garnish with a slice of blood orange

      Thanks, Marco. I'm working on getting my white backgrounds the proper shade. Thanks, nadiya9. The lighting is natural with a reflector.

      i like the image on the right a lot! crisp, beautifully propped -- love those orange slices and the way you've arranged them. and i love the different color straws-- nice detail. the left image feels a little crowded, especially next to the right. did you consider having oranges in foreground, with a little distance in between them and the campari bottle, further back so that it would be softer focus? that way, its graphic quality would not be so dominant, and allow the softer qualities to shine in this lovely pairing. i do think the color in both is great, really vibrant. i also like how you picked up the oranges and reds in both images, tying them nicely together.

      I agree with you that the photo on the left is crowded, especially after looking at it a little closer. I should have played with the composition a little more. Great idea on moving the bottle back further to soften it and have the oranges dominate. Thanks for commenting.
