Prep for quail eggs and sausages

To save time making packed lunch in the morning, combine the cooking of different ingredients into one pan (or pot, broiler, etc.). This was prep for these lunches for Bug and myself; if I'd planned it better I would have thrown the broccoli in too. Full blog entry here.

I wouldn't cook quail eggs and other stuff in the same pot though...Sometimes I could see that the shells are not very clean... or may be only those produced and packed locally in my country are like that?

Hmm, the ones I got looked very clean, and I gave them a rinse beforehand. But if you notice ick on them then maybe not. Still, cooking multiple items in the same water is a time-saver for me.

I'm sure any ick would be sterilised by the boiling anyway.

I totally love your food! u've got an amazing imagination
But heads up! You don't wanna mix an egg with meat , cause u can make a crossed contamination
Even washing the eggs first, it's a no no

Still! take my advice for health safety only, im not even close to discreting your amazing work!

If u rinse eggs, the pores in the shell open up and let any type of virus in (e.g. salmonella)
