LUM Follies - 2017
The sixth annual LUM Good Samaritan Fund Follies was a success -- and a wonderful celebration of the 45th anniversary of Lafayette Urban Ministry. The Follies meal was tasty, and the stage show was well received by the audience. Follies guests generously bid on Silent Auction items and supported specific community needs with donations from the Butterfly Tree. Special thanks to St. Andrew United Methodist Church for hosting Follies, St. Tom's for event support, all of the LUM member churches for donated baskets to the Silent Auction, Joan Low for coordinating the meal, Eileen Weiss for coordinating the entertainment, Nancy Emig for event support, the Follies sponsors, and all of the entertainers and guests. All of the proceeds from the LUM Good Samaritan Fund Follies go directly to the LUM Good Samaritan Fund. The Good Samaritan Fund primarily funds the LUM Good Samaritan Program, which is our community’s social safety net. Assistance is provided each weekday morning in averting eviction, utility disconnects, food shortage, and other emergency financial needs. To give the LUM Good Samaritan Fund -- go to
