This is our Soccer Robot test platform. The project is running in XinChejian (www.xinchejian.com) as a team project.
The target is to build 30 robots (4 teams, 7 per team, 2 spare robots), program them to play football (soccer for my American friends). The main PCB contains an Attiny2313 and one L293D as H-bridge to drive the motors. The Attiny is programmed via an Arduino Nano or UNO or Duemilanove using the Arduino ISP.
The sensor shield on top contains 4 Infrared receivers for navigation. (the LEDs are just there for debugging (check which receiver is receiving). The navigation will be via two infrared beacons with different IDs which are placed behind each goal. More information, please see www.xinchejian.com
