Armrest Pincushion

My inspiration was from Amy from During Quiet Time's tutorial in the link in my comment below. (I couldn't figure out how to link to it in this description. It keeps changing it when I save. Sorry!)

I actually didn't follow this tutorial at all, but I did use the general idea and basic instructions of it. I just made up my own measurements, etc. I made my pockets shorter since the arm on my couch isn't very tall. I also made a loop to hold the pincushion on. I wanted to be able to remove the pincushion so I could hide it away from little kitties who like to pull pins out of things when I'm not looking. I don't want them accidentally swallowing one or hurting themselves! Hopefully this little holder will prevent me from losing my thread and scissors while I'm hand sewing. I'm pretty good at losing scissors and thread every two seconds though, so we'll see. :)
