Collecting fennel seeds from our garden

for our future culinary and medicinal uses:

Fennel seeds are a common ingredient in Italian sausages and meatballs and northern European rye breads and also in many Indian subcontinent and the Middle Eastern dishes.

Traditionally fennel seeds were used medicinally for:

Intestinal tract, Eyes, Blood and urine, Breastmilk, Chronic coughs... (you may research the net for more info).

Fennel is also used as a flavouring in some natural toothpaste.

In addition powdered fennel has the effect of driving away fleas from kennels and stables.
