'Pacific Giant ' are the tallest and showiest of all delphiniums with spikes of semidouble florets that can reach a height of 8 feet. These stately beauties bear pink, blue, lavender, white, and bicolor blooms above attractive cut foliage.

"Perennial. Blooms spring to early summer. 3'-6' tall. Full sun. Breathtaking, statuesque spires of pink, violet, and many shades of blue. A very elegant plant for the back of the perennial border or nostalgic cottage gardens. Excellent cut flower. Legend has it that the Delphinium originated during the battle of Troy. When Achilles was slain, a warrior named Ajax expected to get his armor, an honor for the bravest warrior. When he unexpectedly didn't get it, he killed himself. Where his blood spilled, a small blue larkspur, a type of Delphinium, began to grow.
