You misspelled "spelling" in the bottom-left corner.

That is the error, yes. Intentional, I assure you! :P

D and V are not a vowel so should be capital.

    I lol'd at the Palindrome one :)

I want a poster of this for my bedroom...

The sentence only stipulates that it "has no capitalized vowels", not that all its consonants need be capitalised.

I couldn't quite make out what the middle sentence in the background said, so I cheated and looked at the tags. :D

These were one of the most awesome 5 minutes of my life. Also, lotags :D

  8. erbhebgtghr 36 months ago | reply

technically you're right but you can't blame me for assuming the D and V should be in capitals.

  9. eldeeem 36 months ago | reply

You can't derive anything about the consonants from the fact that the vowels are lowercase. I threw those two lowercase consonants in on purpose, to trip up people who make the wrong assumption. :P

  10. erbhebgtghr 36 months ago | reply

yeah well done I suppose. Not much of an achievement since it doesn't take much to outsmart me. :l

Tip on how to read the sentences in the background: Tilt your monitor up (or tilt yourself down). It makes the screen darker, which makes the light lettering more visible.

Is this inspired by David Moser's Self-Referential Story?

  15. eldeeem 35 months ago | reply

Somewhat. Mainly the two self-reference articles in Metamagical Themas, by Douglas Hofstadter. I think Moser's story is included in there, though.
