South Franklin County Courthouse

    Newer Older

So I finally got around to not only posting a photo, but getting around to taking this shot of our city courthouse. it takes a whopping 35 seconds to drive there i think.... man these holidays can make a man lazy.

this might look familiar- brian cormack, whose family is from the great town of charleston, has taken this shot before. He got some great sunset light in the background, so i thought i'd try the late night shot. The great old building has a neat "back to the future" feel to it; though not near as much as the courthouse and town square in Paris, AR - just down the road.

i hope everyone has had a great holiday and is having a great 2009!

    Check it out LARGE

Hey, it does look a bit familiar. Great shot, it is a great old courthouse. But it only took you about 35 seconds to get there? That beats my two and a half hours, by far! I really like the HDR version, too.

interesting comparison between the court house and little one in the HDR. Very well decorated building! Happy New Year!

Gosh, you people over there seem to like Christmas lights. :-)

Nice shot. Don't think I've seen this courthouse before. But I have seen the one in Paris though that you mentioned.

thanks Giuseppe - yes we tend to get competitive when it comes to lights.

thanks mith. I would like to get some shots of Paris, it's pretty nice.
