Tri-Axle Hits Greenford

The Tri-Axle BCI trialled for route X68 is seen here in Greenford. This is the BCI Enterprise Tri-Axle, built in China for the Australian BCI company. There are currently examples at Ensignbus yet these are not to TfL specification. The BCI will be sent to Go Ahead London for trial on route X68, it is in Greenford for a hybrid retrofit and is seen doing one of many tests. The bus doesn't seem to have any iBus on both decks yet does have a big screen on the lower deck. The bus has not yet been fitted with blinds and has a herringbone style seating upstairs. It's got high back seating and is in full red livery. This is the first time in a long time since Tri-Axle have been used, last time it was the 123 when Capital Citybus moved some Hong Kong buses over, the Tri-Axle was also tested by Stagecoach using a new KMB E500MMC. Now we will just have to wait for the introduction of the Tri-Axle!

UPDATE: This bus has now been registered as LX18DGF
