The Celestial South Pole

    We don't have a polar star as polaris down here. This is a 2.5 hours exposure made from several shorter exposures then merged using software. I'm sorry about not having a nice foreground element , I looked and looked but the south pole didn't want to move from its place! It would be nice to label each trail with the star that created it.

      I think the lack of foreground actually adds to the feel of the picture. Simple and uncluttered.

      how do u get that sky colour???is it post processing?? moon?? shot during blue hour??
