the salt breeze

one I made earlier ...

 

it's called "the salt breeze" inspired by a windswept winter beach and the gales we had in early January that whipped up the sea into swirls of shimmering loveliness

 

made from hand dyed silk and chifforn with sequinned swirls, hand dyed mulberry bark and cottom scrim with free motion stitching, french knots and beads

 

at the bottom I finished it off with a "scrumble" of beads in sea blue tones using peyote stitch
