cafes and places to be

Detail from a heart I stitched. I used silk I dyed myself and chiffons and satins which I manipulate to get some nice textures, mussel shells from the local beaches and lots of beads, french knots and running stitches

Cafes and places to be

Inspired by St. Ives, Alfred Wallis style St. Ives cottages and our local cafe called Bumbles Tea Room on The Digey, St. Ives (which happens to be just across the road from the real Alfred Wallis cottage)
