This was my uncle Walter's place on Drummond Island, MI. I hadn't been there in over 20 years and was amazed that I found it again, since it's off on a unnamed side road. After Uncle Walter passed on, that part of the family has drifted from our part, so we never get to use it anymore. Too bad, since it's a wonderfully peaceful place. It has the original iron stove from the first schoolhouse on Drummond inside. Uncle Walter got this land (45 acres, I believe) back when he was in the CCC, in 1936.
