Sick as a dog. (Came in 8th of 55)
My Jake, 1.5 yr. old standard poodle, who actually is sick today- and gave me the idea for the "sick as a dog" theme. Poor Jake, not sure why he got sick, woke up vomiting and with terrible diarrhea. Took him right to the vet, put on pedialyte, and he's resting comfortably, and seems to be okay. Jake has always had a touchy stomach and digestive system, and i"ve usually been able to keep all in balance. But warning to all, I had put him on comfortis for fleas (as advantage, etc. stopped working in the areas where we spend time). The comfortis upsets his stomach and digestive track, and is a touch better if given on a totally full stomach. But I think I'm going to stop using it, period. He took it two weeks ago, and got very sick. I thought he was all better-- but today again, symptoms. I'm sure he'll be fine. I played around with the color and hue, to emphasize the "sick" part.
