Crazy Butterfly, wings open

This is one of our crazy butterflies. It happens to be a Grey Comma butterfly, common to this region. Commas overwinter, and for three years now we've had a small flock of these butterflies dancing about in our backyard. They buzz us, land on our heads and shoulders and generally try to impersonate wasps.
