Intimacy
Intimacy.
Last week I spendt a day with old friends from highschool and it made me realize how things have changed since I m a not a teenage girl anymore. I always have been surrounded by the most amazing friends. I have always have been here to comfort them during hard times to listen their sorrow and try to make things better. I know they were here for me too but I just couldnt , I just couldnt express how I felt, my mouth sealed itself each time I tried to tell personnal things.
But I grew up.
The teen I was would have never thought she would have been able to let a boy get close to her one day.
Intimacy is letting someone know who you truly are without feeling ashamed. Intimacy is revealing your skin Under the armor you took years to build. Intimacy is accepting to hear I will stand by you wherever you are, whatever you have done. And I love you.
I m not scared anymore. Intimacy released me.
