Los Alamos researchers use a magnetic field detector to screen carry-on liquids at airports

Bob Kraus, is the deputy program director of the Los Alamos Laboratory Directed Research and Development (LDRD) Office. Los Alamos researchers are using the world’s most sensitive magnetic field detector to pinpoint seizure generating tissue in epileptics’ brains and to screen carry-on liquids at airports.
