Deity of the Temple

Newer Older

Well, after a large amount of WIP's, I'll say this is finished. From the previous version a few changes have been made. First off the dishes on the side of the body are removed. Then the Aztec/Mayan temple had some re-decorating. It's almost twice as large as before, and more detailed.

Sadly, I could not cover up all the visible studs, as I used all my tiles on this. So let us all just call it a design for the temple to have the studs =P

I'm pretty proud on how this turned out, but even more so of it's evolution from the original idea (which only a handful know of). This also uses the trans-orange kraata that I have, and will probably be the only thing that incorporates it =P

Enjoy if possible.

Not really. The only similarity I see is the fire aspect, but not much of one =/

Nice. I like what you did with the pedestal to make it look ruinous - just enough detail that it looks complete but doesn't detract from the main build.

Thanks =D Yeah it did come out a bit ruinous. Probably due to how I ran out of black system bits =P

    Black Fantasy?

This looks really cool. (Mostly. The arms could use some work.)
    Nice idea.
The Kraata really adds to it.

    I guess =P

Thanks CF, yeah those arms are the low point. But I couldn't happen to make any better fitting ones =/

Frakktastic. Blogged at Ka-GO. It was really early in the morning, so forgive the simple write-up. Very well done. (Pun intended.)

Wow, I totally missed the orange kraata in the WIP shot, but it looks fantastic in the final product. I think that the removal of the lower discs was a good choice. The base is cool, but doesn't stand out as being too awesome, which may help focus the viewers attention on the deity itself. (Although it doesn't live up to the tentacles you've put on it.) The whole body, head, and arm shaping is great and gives the model a look of power.

Just out of curiosity, are those trans-orange pieces at the bottom all connected or are they just piled in there?

Haha, at least he's got fire =P Thanks Ben.
    Lol. Thanks bro.
    Thank you both =)
I'm as suprised as you =P Lol Thanks bro.
Thank you! It's alright, I appreciate just being blogged =)
Not suprising, the kraata is a little darker then normal trans-orange. Thanks, glad you like it. Some are in fact connected, and some of them, however, are held on through friction =/

Awesome. The temple is a nice addition as well. By the way, do you plan on making legs?

  14. Lord-Oblivion 31 months ago | reply

Why would it need legs? It would kinda ruin the Deity appearance it currently has =/

Woah I thought i commented on this before lol. Anyway sweet moc I love how you finished off the temple, the whole torso is amazing ( especially the ribs), and of course I'm very jealous of the kraata :3

Brilliant, Love the whole chest area. That chest design inspired me to try my own. It's not as good as this but I went one step further and included a Krana on top of the Kraata. They fit together really well but you need a few dodgy connections which are a pain.
    Love this moc :D
