The end of the world?

The obligatory shot out of a plane window.
I liked the ice on the window.
I changed the hue quite drastically but I think it brings out the tones in the clouds and gives it a menacing feel.

Hard to decide, two fantastic pics.
Probably this one is tilted, a little bit grany and there is a black triangle in the right lower corner. So my vote goes to the other one...

I agree with some of the others that this is a tough choice, but the airport edges it out. The colors, lighting and lines in that one just come together for me in a way this one doesn't.

Incredible clouds. Very surreal. I love the airport shot, but have seen many very similar images on flickr. This one is very original and creative.

I'm afraid that there is simply no contest here IMHO. Your pic is definitely interesting, but the composition is confused, and it lacks overall coherence as an image. The ice crystals become an interference after you look at it for a while, especially the out of focus stuff at left and the stuff obscuring the clouds at the bottom.

Compared, Kaddy's image is pure class - it has everything. Composition, action, atmosphere, colour - all executed in style. It could almost have been someone else taking it :)

Sorry mate but this is a firm vote: noneof100#5

Thanks for the great contest. I think I gave Kaddy a run for his money. But if I'm honest I think Kaddy's shot is the better of the 2. Long may it stay in the group.

Nice one Riv (with the exception of last bit!). Mark a fantastic shot, I was afraid I have to admit! But phew it got through!

I have seen hundreds of pictures through the window of an airliner, and never felt anything... But this is pure beauty. Absolutely awsome.

Thanks for that great comment. I'm very pleased that you see something so different in this shot. It was the ice crystals that caught my eye and only later did I notice the interesting cloud formations.

That's beautiful. I've never seen thunder clouds from that perspective.
