Peterborough Cathedral Cambridgeshire 1st July 2012

St Peter's Cathedral was built after a fire destroyed most of the Saxon building in 1116. The West Front was completed in the early 13th century and the porch added in 1380.

A nice shot sir. I wasn't aware that Peterborough had such a nice and impressive looking cathedral.

      Chris, WW - thanks.

I wasn't either until quite recently Chris. I was picking up my daughter from the station so we made a day of it; NVR from Wansford to Peterborough & a couple of hours in the city including a visit to the cathedral. It was a very pleasant day.
