London Kings Cross Widened lines tunnel 3rd July 1977
The gloom of the 1863 Hotel Curve tunnel down to the Metropolitan Widened Lines beckons. The track is still in situ but following closure in March 1977 no trains ran by this time and behind the camera the track was severed.
The access to the wooden platform was down the ramp on the right & the window at the top was on the entrance passageway from Kings Cross station proper located to the left.
By the wide variety of buildings & walls it must have been built & added to over a long period of time. To no avail because it's all gone now.
