London Marylebone 5th March 1977
The fine ironwork of Marylebone station's trainshed. Marylebone was the destination for all trains on the Great Central Railway's 1899 London Extension but by 1977 only the commuter dmu's from Aylesbury terminated there. This is a Sunday morning view and there's not a lot happening. Nice line up of ancient mail trolleys.
Today it is a main line terminus once again with services from Birmingham Snow Hill running into it.
