England: Hendon, Black 6 (Bf-109 fighter)
The famous "Black 6". A genuine wartime Bf-109 G-2 painstakingly restored to flying condition over a period of nearly twenty years. It was originally captured in North Africa during WWII. After an accident and subsequent repair it was decided not to fly this irreplaceble aircraft anymore. It is now in the collection of the RAF museum in Hendon, London. Shot from a tripod with a Nikon EM & 20mm Sigma lens. This might very well be my favourite photo of the whole of 2010.
