HDR IR Brickworks valley

Newer Older

This pit supplied the clay for the bricks that came out of this place for over a century. Today, the city has revitalized it as parkland, a little pocket paradise within sight of the downtown.

This image was assembled in AutoStitch from from four HDR images created in Photomatix from AEB spreads taken with my infrared-converted Canon G1. Best viewed large.

Very nice.. I've been wondering about these IR HDR's for a while. On my IR converted 10D it seems to capture more dynamic range than I would expect. There are shots that when properly exposed to right retain great shadow and highlight details. I guess I need to just try it out sometime and see what EV spread I get during conversion...

You're playing tricks on my eyes, LP. But you failed, my friend. You can't trick me because I still see beauty in this picture. Nice.
