A tumble of cake
This cake was so, so much better the second day. It's so much more moist, and still quite crumbly, but it was delicious with my morning coffee. I love this.
I made the Semolina cake but probably won't make it again, at least not exactly the way this recipe says to. It turned out very crunchy, almost like it was made with coarse cornmeal. Maybe I need a different grade of semolina? The cake was pretty dry as well, even after being soaked with simple syrup flavored with rosewater. I don't know. There are other cakes out there that deserve my attention now.
