IMG_4460 ImmatureTurkey Vulture

    Newer Older

On the field trip with Tucson Audubon to Pena Blanca Lake, northwest of Nogales, AZ. We got loooong looks at this immature Turkey Vulture who was content to dry his wings and stay perched for nearly an hour, before taking to the sky.

Great series. He looks ugly but then he is a Vulture.
