Sunset over Orleans Bay
The sand at Orleans Bay is just so soft, has the texture of the finest caster sugar, feels like corn flour between the toes, and it is so white, almost like snow in the sunlight. The disappointment is not one stretch of beach unmarked by tyre tracks from 4x4's and buggies, motorbikes etc, even ps would struggle editing them out, which I'm not going to do, I will try to pp as little as possible.
We had clear blue skies most of the time there, particularly at dawn and sunset, not ideal for those shots I was so hoping for.
But in spite of the brisk breeze and lack of cloud formations, it was a lovely change of scenery and we had the peaceful break we wanted at last, ended too soon though.
