      I did this exact thing on my Acer cardigan. Luckily I was able to rework it like you're doing. How's it going? Did you get it fixed?

      I did work it out but it's kind of a mess in the back - lots of loose yarn. The tension between the cables & the stockinette is also pretty loose. I've been giving them a good pull & praying that a block will straighten things out. At any rate, it's way better than having messed up cables!

      Also, I just lurked your Acer cardigan - it is beautiful! Wow!!

      Thanks! I love my finished Acer---have worn it several times now.

      What is the pattern of your sweater? The color is beautiful! I'm glad you were able to fix the cables. Blocking did help when I messed mine up.

      It is the Chuck pattern by Andi Satterlund - Here is my Ravelry page for it. I'm almost done with the body (just working on the bottom ribbing now); it was really fun to knit!
