Oh Dear Trophy Head (yes, dear)

    Newer Older

This is one of those experiments that needed more practice. We have a decorative fawn sitting in our lawn (came with the rented house). We made a pattern of its head using plastic wrap and tape (a technique we saw online). The result was a sort of wonky pattern and this deer trophy head. I say it needs more work to make it our own. Nevertheless, I barely took a couple of photos (sorry about the quality of this one) before I carried it to our local shop to get some feedback. Some nice young woman decided this is what she was missing and bought it. The funnest part was making the antlers, all wrapped in scraps of fabric. We'll try this again sometime, we could use a plush trophy head in our house, perhaps you do too.
