Tools of the stressed-out bloggette....
I know the cigs are bad. Only had 6 yesterday, but that's still 6 too many. However, lately I've been treating my stress with lots of water and herb tea, and yes, I'm taking Cymbalta. So happens Mr. Wonderful works for the company that makes it, so they gave him that nifty little post-it cube.
I'm going through a lot, but I can't register that as a complaint because EVERYONE is going through a lot and for a long time. Though my back hurts 24/7, even with meds (no narcotics, though), I'm fortunately not a candidate for surgery because the pain doesn't radiate down my legs or anything. I've decided to pursue the PT seriously this time around and do my exercises. It also occurred to me to look into some sort of martial arts or tai chi?
Paul Levy wrote The Madness of George Bush. His premise is the collective madness of the US, if not the entire world, has been manifested in George Bush and his desire to go to war on Afghanistan and Iraq and "stay the course." There's a lot more to it, but it really makes me wonder.
hugs love and peace to everyone,
