36 Weeks - New Years Eve Edition
The big news this week, according to my midwife, is that if I went into labor now, they wouldn't try to stop it. They'd let me labor on and meet this little girl! As of last Thursday (12/26) I've begun the cross over into "uncomfortable pregnant lady" territory. Mike has to help me get my shoes on or I can only wear slip ons. My feet are swelling up every day, so I have to keep them up. My back ACHES. My shoulders ache. My neck aches. I can't sit in the car for longer than 20 minutes without wanting to cry. All that said, I don't want Niblet making her appearance quite yet - a few more weeks for extra brain and lung development will do her good, so I'm hanging in there and reminding her daily that there is no rush to get out!
She's over 6 pounds now and I've lost a pound! What what? (Apparently it's totally normal to lose a little weight towards the end of pregnancy.
