Canon EF 50mm ƒ/1.8

Today I wanted to do something with bokeh balls. But the weather disagreed and it rains. So I decided to fake some bokeh balls and did some aluminium paper balls and sticked them on my window :)

Let me tell you something to my 50mm 1.8. I bought it in Schipol shortly before I flew to Curacao and it is my first prime lens. It is cheap, easy and works well. So I find myself often with this lens attached doing bokeh shots or portraits.

Strobist info:

- 580 EXII through mini softbox @ 1/8 105mm cam left

- 430 EXII through grid @ 1/1 105mm cam right

- triggered with phottix

- 5D MKII @ 1/125 ISO 100 ƒ2.8

Take a look at the setup here.
