Once I saw this, I knew I had to make some. Frank doesn't like apple pie (?!) but I do, and this is the perfect size for me. It would also work really well for kids helping you bake other pies.

The only thing I did differently is that I found it much faster to roll out strips of dough for the sides, and cut out circles for the bottoms. Way easier than just pressing dough against the sides, which I found time-consuming and irritating. You can easily cut the strip the right width by laying the jar on its side on the dough.
