Photographs and Memories
A framed picture of the old familiar New York skyline, with the Twin Towers in their proper place in the sky, hangs on the fence railing among flowers on the Brooklyn Heights Promenade. In the background, the Tribute in Light memorial recalls those easier times.
This is one of the spots where there is always some candle burning, or picture posted, or flower resting on the ground; we have a few of these quiet places of worship, where the memory pools and does not fade.
