Strange Bedfellows

The bomb-scare evacuation Monday morning in Brooklyn Heights makes for some unlikely mixing and juggling.

The Borough Hall subway station serving the 2, 3, 4, 5, R, M and sometimes N trains is emptied, as are the nearby Kings County courts, the legal offices at 26 Court Street, and a series of stores, banks and residential buildings.

Here on the corner of Court and Remsen, three unlikely men wait by a fire truck together for the police to finish their sweep. Four, if you're counting me.
