The Cenotaph

The Cenotaph which stands in the grounds of the Cabinet Building on Front Street, is a smaller replica of the Cenotaph in Whitehall, London.

"'We'll do it for England,' a man muttered grimly. Their faces were taught, some tears, a sob here and there, as they thought of all they must lose. But they thought of England too, fighting alone against enormous odds, and that intangible thread which so strongly holds British people together in times of crisis again held tough and strong." - Bermuda Journey by William Zuill
