Folklorico Sculpture on the Malecon, Puerta Vallarta, Mexico

Here is a photo of one of the many sculptures along the Malecon (sea wall) in Puerto Vallarta (Jalisco), Mexico. The wall protects the city from storm surges off the Pacific Ocean and the Bay of Banderas, one of the deepest bays in the world, and a famous calving/mating area for humpback and California gray whales. Other various scluptures are to be found along the many miles of sea wall.
