Return to Gander Down

Having walked the whole South Downs Way 2 years ago I was keen to return a couple of weeks ago after a days walking around the Meon Valley to Gander Down which is this shallow bottom in the Downs here just east of Cheesefoot Head.
This is a pretty accessible part of the South Downs as the A272 runs fairly close to here. (About 1/2 a mile to the south.)
It was a worthwhile drive after walking as I did that day. I did enjoy a quick drink at The Shoe in Exton before deciding where my evening shot would be taken. It was worth it, to see this scene in colour where my first shot of it was in black and white.
Here is the original Gander Down shot -- which I have hung on my wall.
