wood(stove) fired clay beads

    I used my woodstove to fire some of the clay beads I made. I love how they turned out. The black ones are those that were buried under the ashes. It isn't soot, and doesn't wash off, it's a product of the firing process. The tiny white flecks are pieces of mussel shell that I used to amend the clay.
