I just completed this brooch made of wool and wood.

I've needle felted the scene (about 1" across) and fitted it into a setting I made out of an oak branch.

roomontheleft..., Peppysis, and 79 other people added this photo to their favorites.

Did you say beer, Lisa ? OK, I'm alreaddy under the tree waiting for you :)))
I can't believe you even brew your own beer, Lisa !!! Of course I believe you as everything is possible in Lisa's wonderland ! Are you helped by an old expert gnomie from the middle of the forest ? I guess that special beverage has magic properties ... such as shrinking yourself to needle craft an entire scenery on a small brooch of only 1 or 2 cm :)

I also saw the thumbnail and thought I was looking from one landscape through to the next through a "porthole". It's an interesting illusion at that scale.

Thanks so much everybody! I like the idea of it being a porthole. I guess in a way it actually is...a porthole to places I've been, things I've seen.

Nanou - that special beverage does have magic properties...if I drink enough of it, I start to declare my undying love for everyone...even people I don't know...and I giggle a lot. :D
