antique lace

A bouquet made of vintage buttons that I've fashioned into flowers. I've given each flower a few leaves of reclaimed leather.

This bouquet is ivory, cream, white, and touches of antique gold.

My first thought was that it was some beautiful marine creature, like the bleached shells of sea urchins or sea snails on a rock. Gorgeous, whatever it is!

Thanks pyewacket, it does have an urchin-y look to it.

Very elegant. They remind me of barnacles. They are such an interesting community of creatures.
